Fun Fact: Over the past year, Hannah has traveled to eight different cities to watch a variety of collegiate and professional sporting events.
Hannah was born and raised in
Pittsburgh, PA. She is a senior television journalism student, minoring in
communications at West Virginia University. Hannah will be graduating in May of
During her time in college, she has been an intern at Mountaineer Sports Network since the fall of her freshman year. Through her three years there she has had the opportunity to work in a variety of positions with WVU football, Men’s and Women’s basketball and soccer, volleyball, and baseball.
Last year, Hannah was the beat reporter for WVU women’s soccer. She had the opportunity to cover games, attend press conferences, shoot and edit stories and even interview recent 2016 Olympic bronze medalists Ashley Lawrence and Kadeisha Buchanan.
She also had to opportunity to work for CBS Sports during a Steeler’s game in her hometown, making it that much sweeter for her. Her freshman year she spent two semesters working at the school radio station, U92, doing weekly on-air news casts.
Hannah hopes that one day she can help sports fans make a deeper connection to the sport and players that they love through different types of media. In her free time, she likes to travel home and enjoy the company of her family.
