Fun Fact: Was a competitive gymnast for eight years.

Kyleigh Rice was born in Lancaster, PA, which most people know as Amish country, but in second grade moved to New Cumberland, WV, which is a small town 30 minutes from Pittsburgh, PA.

She will be graduating in May, 2018 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Interactive Media Design. She picked these areas because she loves the news and digital media, as well as being able to design content for entertainment.

In addition to WVU News, Kyleigh works for u92 radio station, Ed on Campus and the Reed College of Media. This past summer, she interned at WTOV9 in Steubenville, OH. Fun fact, Eric Minor used to work there!

Her ultimate goal is to be a challenging and note-worthy reporter who helps bring serious issues facing our country to light in the hopes to better our world. Where ever she ends up makes no difference to her, as long as she is doing what she loves.

When Kyleigh is not out chasing a story, you can find her relaxing with a book and some coffee, or planning her next beach getaway.
