Fun Fact: Mitchell once met Robin Williams when he was trick or treating at the age of four. When Williams saw that Mitchell was wearing a Tigger costume he performed the "Tigger Song" for him.

Mitchell Blahut was born in San Francisco, California but moved when he was young and settled in Springfield, Virginia when he was six. He’s majoring in broadcast journalism and minoring in communications. His biggest passion is sports. From an early age when his family would take him to 49ers and San Francisco Giants games, he saw professional athletes out in his city.

He has a great deal of experience in journalism from his time writing articles for multiple sports blogs. Starting at Pro Football Spot as a paid lead writer in 2016, Mitchell is now a site manager on NFL Analysis Network and an editorial manager on ClutchPoints. He wants to continue being involved in sports journalism and hopes to one day be a part of a major organization like ESPN, Fox Sports, CBS Sports, etc.

His plan after graduating is to work either in Washington DC or Northern California, where most of his family resides. He enjoys traveling and hopes to explore more of the world while he can.
