Kaeli is a senior journalism student at West Virginia University with minors in Sports Communication and Theatre. She will be graduating with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in May of 2024.

Kaeli grew up in the small town of Coalton, West Virginia. The idea of pursuing journalism first came when she was looking into attending law school. She was going to major in journalism to prepare for the LSAT, but after touring the Reed College of Media at WVU, Kaeli fell in love with the school and decided to pursue broadcast journalism.

Kaeli joined Mirage Magazine during her freshman year at WVU. She has written four stories for the magazine and served as the TikTok manager during her junior year. She also wrote for the Daily Athenaeum during her freshman year and had six stories published in the newspaper. She has been active in Cru since her freshman year of college and has served as a student leader in the club for two years.

Kaeli has interned with WBOY in Clarksburg, WV, and with New South Media Inc. as a video intern. Most recently, Kaeli worked as a part-time reporter for WDTV in Bridgeport, WV. Her dream job is to cover sports as a sideline reporter or Broadcaster.
